Stew meat gets especially tender when it slow cooks all day with red beans and chili powder-seasoned picante to make this hearty and delicious chili...it's great for weeknight dinners or weekend parties.
Instructions
Stir the picante sauce, water, chili powder, ground chipotle, onion, beef and beans in a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until the beef is fork-tender. Serve with the cheese and sour cream, if desired.

1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce1 cup water2 tablespoons chili powder1 teaspoon ground chipotle chile powder1 large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)2 pounds beef for stew, cut into 1/2-inch pieces1 can (about 15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese(optional)0.5 cup sour cream(optional)
